At Rockits Sensory CIC, we are dedicated to supporting children, adults and their families living with disabilities and additional needs across Kent. Our mission is to become Kent’s central place of support for SEND families by providing inclusive services, meaningful opportunities and a welcoming community. We fund sensory play sessions, support groups, SEND school visits and charity visits-ensuring that as many families as possible can access vital support regardless of their circumstances.
Our experienced SEND specialists offer free face-to-face drop-in sessions, while we work in partnership with local organisations, including Includes Us 2, to deliver initiatives such as our SEND home education group. Alongside this, we organise social events for SEND parents! We host Kent’s leading SEND conference and take our support beyond our centre by providing community outings for children and adults. In 2026 we started another venture, bringing our mobile sensory experience to events across the county. Please scroll down the page for further information about the sessions and events!
There are many ways you can support the work of Rockits Sensory CIC and help us continue making a difference. Firstly, visit our volunteer-run café, where every purchase directly contributes towards our core operating costs and enables us to continue delivering our services. Businesses and individuals can also support us through sponsorship opportunities, including funding unlimited monthly play sessions for a SEND family, sponsoring visits for local schools, supporting our neurodiverse adult social group (New Horizons)and helping to fund many of our other projects and activities. Free SEND room stay and plays
Children, adults and carers are welcome to use our occupational therapist designed SEND room for free Monday-Friday 9-4.30. Please drop us a message on social media or via the contact us page to book.
SEND Support Groups
We regularly have support groups and professionals attend the play centre to give free face to face support and help to our SEND families. They can help with everything from diagnosis, EHPC’s, behaviour management, regulating emotions and more. If you are looking for support, please do contact us and we will put you straight in touch or let you know the next dates!
New Horizons
